SAUTEED GARLIC ASPARAGUS

Tasty and healthy way to prepare and enjoy asparagus! Serves 4


1 tbsp Butter 15 mL
1 to 2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil 15 to 30 mL
1 bunch Fresh asparagus spears, trimmed 1 bunch
3 Garlic clove, minced 3
Mrs. Dash Original Blend
1 tsp Lemon juice 5 mL
Parmesan Cheese

Over Medium heat, heat butter and 1 tbsp olive oil, add garlic and saute for about 1/2 a minute, stirring often so it doesn't burn. Remove from pan and set aside.

Return pan to medium heat, add 1 tbsp olive oil and the asparagus spears, sprinkle generously with regular Mrs. Dash, a little more olive oil, if needed, and cook until al dente, this could be about 3-4 minutes for medium stalks, lower heat to medium low, add your reserved oil and garlic. Stir until well coated, cover pan and let simmer for a few minutes.

Serve with a sprinkle with lemon juice and parmesan cheese.
