Use this colorful vinegar to make salad dressings. Include three or five raspberries. Makes about 2 cups [500 mL].

2 cups White wine vinegar 500 mL
1/2 cup Raspberries 125 mL
Whole raspberries

  • In a small stainless steel or enamel saucepan combine vinegar and 1/2 cup [125 mL] raspberries; bring to boil . Remove from heat and let stand for 20 minutes.

  • Strain vinegar, being careful not to press berries through sieve. Pour into jar or jars and seal.
  • Add three or five raspberries per jar.
Note:   Never shake vinegar's, sediment on bottom of jar after a time is normal.
