Sweet, buttery and a nice combination of nuts and coconut. An all around winner!

1/2 cup Butter, softened 125 mL
1/2 cup Brown Sugar 125 mL
1 cup All Purpose Flour 250 mL

2 Eggs 2
1 cup Brown Sugar 250 mL
1 tsp Vanilla 5 mL
1/2 cup Shredded Coconut 125 mL
1/2 cup Chopped walnuts or pecans 125 mL
2 tbsp Flour 25 mL
1/2 tsp Salt 2 mL
1 tsp Baking Powder 5 mL

Bottom Layer Cream butter and brown sugar, add 1 cup flour - mix until crumbly and press in bottom of of ungreased 9x13 inch pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes.

Top Layer Beat eggs, add in brown sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Add remaining ingredients. Spread over bottom layer
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Cut into squares.
